Journal question: What might be the social/political implications for there being a gay gene?

In terms of culture, why do you suppose that the experience of teen-age intercourse (see pp. 376-7) is so much lower for Asian and Middle Eastern youth?
The reason that the experience for teen-age intercourse is much lower for Asians and Middle Eastern youth is because of the fact that Asia and the Middle East is much more strict on these types of practices, or at least more than in America.

Explain why so few teen-agers practice safe-sex.
Because of the fact that teenagers are not aware of the consequences of not having "safe-sex"

“Understanding Sexual Orientation”
Does homosexual behavior always indicate homosexual orientation? Explain.
Not necessarily, since a person's behavior has nothing to do with their sexual orientation. Also, it is not really possible to define a "homosexual" behavior.

Provide three notions of biological causes of sexual orientation (see pp. 381-3)

Why does it matter at all whether or not there is a physiological reason for sexual orientation? (Opinion question, but be sure p. 383)
Because if there is a physiological reason for sexual orientation, there can be different reasons to why a person is homosexual or straight. If one was born with it, then it could show that it's not a choice to be homosexual but a physical need.
